Prue Road Low Water Crossing consisted of the installation of an 8
Barrel 9’x6’ MBC structure at Huebner Creek to eliminate the low
water crossing for a 100 year storm event and for a future 5-lane
road section. On this project, Yantis Company proposed the idea
of keeping the street completely closed during construction and
pre-casting the box culvert crossing in lieu of a cast-in-place
structure that allowed the roadway section to be completed and
open to traffic 6 months ahead of the original project schedule as
well as provided a significant overall savings to the City.
