Stephen Deering, P.E. serves as Vice President of Estimating for Yantis Company. Steve is responsible for the management and oversight of the estimating staff. Steve also handles all owner and engineer correspondence before, during and after the bidding process.
While at Yantis, Steve has been involved with site work projects ranging in value from $100,000 to over $25 million. Steve was responsible for the bidding of high profile projects such as; Jones Maltsberger, Tesoro Petroleum Corporate Headquarters, Stone Ridge Retail Center, and multiple paving projects at San Antonio International Airport. Steve has also served as chief estimator for Alamo Ranch, an ongoing $50 million dollar residential subdivision. Steve’s background as a professional engineer allows him to provide in depth value engineering ideas for Yantis customers.
Steve graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in civil engineering and is a registered professional engineer. His experience in the construction industry spans over twenty six years with Zachry Construction and Yantis Company.
